Crystal Kamoroff (she/her) is a queer artist, educator, curator and musician from Northern California. She has exhibited sculpture and installation-based work in galleries and various art venues both nationally and throughout the Bay Area. She received her BFA from San Jose State University and MFA from Bowling Green State University. Crystal teaches ceramics at various institutions throughout the Bay Area and also facilitates ceramic programing and creative practices.  While clay is central to her art making practice, drawing, found objects and mixed media are also a common thread within her work.

As a connector, Crystal is working with people, building community and creating containers with intention to hold space for healing, empowerment and liberation.  Drawn to transformative work on her journey of healing from cancer, medicine circles, art and song have been integral paths of recovery.  With a passion to be of service, Crystal is working with various modalities of expressive and healing arts that combine creative and nourishing practices to cultivate awareness for the purpose of holistic wellness. Through the autonomy of creative practices, mindfulness and compassion, she addresses the entire self as an interwoven, energetic system of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual energy. Crystal is here for it. For song, music and art making, and open to collaborations that envision new ways of connecting, supporting and exploring ways of healing one another and the planet.
